Although this building (one among many) had been abandoned as a factory, parts of it are being used as rough housing. Taken along the Elbe River in the Czech Republic. The patterns are fascinating; the decay and desperation distressing.

Pat Miller

Pat Miller is drawn to color, form, and character in an effort to capture moments that possess a particular beauty or humor. She especially likes to photograph creatures (birds, mammals, insects), reflections, abstracts, and waterscapes. Her photos range from abstraction to hyper-realism as she works to balance complexity and simplicity. Originally an academic trained in literature, Pat Miller became an artist in her middle years.
